Thora E. “Toadie” Pigue (nee Brinkman) of Hillsboro died Saturday February 19, 2000, in Hillsboro.  She was 87 years old.  She was born on October 1, 1912 in De Soto, MO.  She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Dot” Pigue; her parents: Martin and Sarah Brinkman (nee Huskey); a sister Elma Freshwater; three brothers: Emmet, Gerald, and Robert Brinkman.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hillsboro, Eastern Star, and the Hillsboro Garden Club.
Visitation will be from 2 until 9 PM Tuesday February 22, 2000, at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro, MO.
Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Wednesday February 23, 2000, at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro, MO.
Interment will be at Hillsboro Cemetery.
Memorials to First Baptist Church of Hillsboro Building Fund or Jefferson Memorial Hospice directed to Doug Goforth would be appreciated.
