Hazel Belle Schneider, nee Rouggly, age 85, of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed
away on Thursday, July 13, 2000, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal
City, Missouri.  Hazel Belle was born in Valle Mines, Missouri. Dec, 21 1914
Survived by her two granddaughters, Kathryn L. (Kurt) Schneider-Hettiger,
of Hillsboro, Missouri, and Kristine L. Schneider of Chicago, Illinois, also
survived by one great-grandson, John W. Hettiger of Hillsboro, Missouri,
and one sister-in-law, Louise Mason of Raliegh/Durham, North Carolina.
Preceded in death by, John S. Schneider, her husband, John A. Schneider,
her son, and Arnold and Pearl (nee Rowe) Rouggly, her parents.  Hazel
Belle was a member  of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and P.E.O.
Sisterhood.  Mr. and Mrs. Schneider were the owners of the Rocket Newspaper.

She was born December 22, 1913 in Arkansas. She is survived by a son in law William R. Higgins of Hillsboro MO, 2 Grand sons William S. Higgins (wife Tanna) of Florissant MO and Boyd R. Higgins of Hillsboro MO, 2 great grandchildren, Kristen and Erin Higgins. Also survived by 2 Sisters Ted Jones of Bloomfield Indiana and Ruby Erwin of Largo Fl, 2 brothers Mark and Marshel Russell both of Indianapolis Indiana. Preceded in death by her husband Dave G. Stephens and Beverly A. Higgins her daughter, also her parents Bill and Bell Russell.
