Ilene V.  (Recar) Klaus, 76, of De Soto died Feb 12, 2006, in St. Louis.  Mrs. Klaus was a homemaker.  

She was a member of the Mississippi River Eagles and enjoyed fishing.  

Born Mar 4, 1929, in Caruthersville, MO., she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Ida (Hoosier) VanDiver.  

She was preceded in death by two husbands:  Robert Recar and Oscar Klaus.

She is survived by two daughters:  Brenda (Ed) Missey of De Soto and Robin (David) Harlow of Hillsboro;  

two sisters: Martha Taylor of Indiana and Maydell Ashcroft of southern Missouri; six grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Carol Brown and JoAnn Recar; six brothers; and two sisters.

Funeral services were to be held Feb 15 at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto. officiating by the Rev. Wayne Kean.  

Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in De Soto.  

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  

Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.

Lois A. Koch

 

Lois A. Koch, Age 59 of De Soto, MO passed away on March 27, 2006. 

She is survived by her husband John W. Koch, Sr., son John W. Koch, Jr of De Soto, MO and her daughter Annette M. (Gary) Vaughn of De Soto, MO. 

She was the grandmother of Avery Vaughn and Kayliey Koch. She is also survived by her mother Eleanor (nee Fedorchak) Miller of Overland, MO. and brother Joe (Michelle) Miller of Colorado and sister Edna Mae Butler of Florida.
Preceded in death by her father Joseph N. Miller.
Funeral service was held at Mahn Funeral Home - De Soto Chapel on Friday March 31, 2006. 

Burial in Calvary Cemetery in De Soto, MO.
