Hugo H. Perr, 78, of Barnhart, MO passed away Tues, Oct 2, 2007 at his Barnhart residence. He was a retired letter pressman at Concordia Publishing. Born May 7, 1929 in Altenburg, MO to the late Martin Theodore and Louise Perr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. (Klaus) Perr. He is survived by a son, Wayne (Ruth) Perr; two daughters: Kathryn (Arthur) Kramer and Miriam (Robert) Butler; friend, Doreen Carpenter; one brother, Elmer Perr; four sisters: Anita Poppi tz, Meta Seapaugh, Millie Vaughn and Irma Petzoldt; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and a grandson, Andrew Kramer.;Funeral service was Sat, Oct 6, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, Hillsboro, MO. Charlotte A. Moss, 66, of Blackwell, Missouri, passed away October 4, 2007 in Blackwell.  She was born October 25, 1940 in Washington County, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Coleman) Coleman.  Her husband, Phil Moss preceded her in death.  She is survived by 2 sons:  Kenny Moss of Potosi, and Robert Moss of Blackwell; a daughter, Tina Fortenberry of Okawville, Illinois; 2 brothers, Donald Coleman of Blackwell and Richard Coleman of St. Louis; a sister Carol (LeRoy) Boyer of Blackwell; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her best friend, Robert Lewis of Blackwell.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Lewis. Visitation at Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel on Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 5:00p.m. til 8:00p.m. with funeral service on Monday, October 8, 2007 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri.  Interment will be in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery. Memorials can be made in form of Masses. Mrs. Moss was a clerk at E & T Convenience Store and a member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church. Her favorite pass time was playing yatzee and poker.

Joyce (Everard) Eisinga, 81, of Festus passed away Oct 10, 2007 at Crystal Oaks Care Center in Crystal City. She had been a school teacher in England, Germany, Bermuda and United States. Born May 26, 1926 in Essex, England to the late Rodney and Laura (Williams) Everard. She is preceded in death by two husbands; Orval McDonald and Simon Eisinga. She is survived by one son, Neil (Kari) McDonald. Her wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements under Mahn Twin City Chapel.

Julie Ann Spruell, 46, of New Hartford, MO., formerly of DeSoto, died Oct 11, 2007, in St. Charles.  Ms. Spruell was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in DeSoto and participated in the Special Olympics.  Born July 30, 1961, in Farmington, she was the daughter of Harlie and Seraphine Spruell of DeSoto. In addition to her parents, she is survived by four brothers: Nathan (Karen) Spruell of DeSoto, Kevin Spruell of De Soto, Jerome Spruell of DeSoto and Flavin (Carlen) Spruell of DeSoto; two sisters:  Ardis Fischer of DeSoto and Davalie Fraser of DeSoto; and two beloved caregivers: Sonya and Kevin Gilber of New Hartford. Funeral services were held Oct 13 at Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto, officiated by the Rev. Ron Hopmeir. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in DeSoto .  Memorials may be made to Special Olympics or in the form of Masses.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto.

Mildred M. Brown (nee Kohler) age 85 of Herculaneum Missouri passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2007, at Crystal Oaks Care Center in Crystal City Missouri.Born August 13, 1922 in Zell, Missouri. She was a homemaker. Survived by her children- son Melvin L. (Lynn) Brown of Festus Missouri, son-Norvill L. (Darlene) Brown of Festus Missouri, Daughters- Kay M. (Ken) Helenschmidt of Festus Missouri, Betty A. (Ron) Boyster of De Soto Missouri. Also 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband- Norvill L. Brown, whom she married on Dec, 2 1945. Also Preceded in death by her parents- Frank and Maria Anna Kohler (nee Gerstner), a daughter- Betty Jo Brown, brothers and sisters- Rose Londock, Philomena Kreitler, Simon Kohler, Henry Kohler, Josephine Kohler, Altine Emma Kohler, Albert Kohler, Ben Kohler, Joseph Kohler, Helen Carrow and Robert Kohler. Lester L. "Shorty" Pitts, 83 of St. Louis died Oct 15, 2007, in St. Louis.  Mr. Pitts was a welder with the St. Louis Ship Yard and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Born March 11, 1924, in Cook Station, MO., he was the son of the late Ken and Mabel Pitts. He is survived by his wife, Hazel M. Pitts of DeSoto; three sons: Jimmy (Mary) Pitts of St. Louis, David ( the late Charlotte) Pitts of St. Louis and Leslie Pitts of Missouri; four daughters: Judy Hays of St. Louis, Mary Ann (Don) Ashmore of High Ridge, Connie (Gary) Queensen o f St. Louis and Sheila Eddington of Missouri; special friends, Betty and Kenny Hochstatter of St. Louis; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct 19 at Mahn Funeral Home DeSoto Chapel, officiated by the Rev. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  Born June 19, 1930 in St Louis to the late Leslie Ewell and Mary Ellen (Burns) Dale. He is survived by one son, Norman G. He had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1936, member of, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, served un the U.S. Air Force during WW II. Born Nov 19, 1919 in Ponza, Italy to the late Ciro and Maria Candida (Conte) Albano. He is survived by his wife, Lucy M. (Scotti) Albano. He is survived by one son:Ciro Albano and one daughter: Dr. Maria C. Albano; son-in-law: Dr. Theodore Koreckij; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Elvera Pauline (Pound) Sawdy, 76, of Festus (formerly of DeSoto) passed away Oct 10, 2007, at her Festus residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. Born Feb 21, 1931, in St Louis, to the late Richard and Margaret (Ems) Pound. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenz Sawdy. She is survived by two daughters; Linda (Doug) Gerber and Gail (James) Egbert; two sons: Gene (Diane) Sawdy and Thomas Sawdy; and seven grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Sawdy; four brothers: Elmer Pound, Richard Pound, Sylvester Pound and Casper Pound. Funeral services were Mon, Oct 15, 2007 at Mahn Twin City Chapel. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in DeSoto, MO.
