Meta Ida Kley (nee During) age 92, of Hillsboro Missouri, passed away on May 10, 2007, in De Soto, Missouri. She was born on August 25, 1914, in Hillsboro Missouri. Meta was a farmer and long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro Missouri. She is survived by, Grandson-Wayne (Cindy) Douglas of Crystal City Missouri, Also Survived by four great grandchildren-Blair Douglas of Crystal City Missouri, Eric Douglas of Hillsboro Missouri, Brandon Cernicek of Arnold Missouri, and Garrett Cernicek of St. Genevieve Missouri. Three great great grandchildren, Mya, Tyreece, and Eve. She was preceded in death by, Husband-Norvel Kley, Daughter Irene Douglas, Father Charles During, Mother, Emma During (nee Linhorst), and one Granddaughter Janet Richard. Visitation-Sunday May 13, 2007, from 4PM until 7PM at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home Inc. Hillsboro Missouri. Visitation also will be held on Monday May 14, 2007, from 9AM until 10AM at Zion Lutheran Church Hillsboro Missouri. Ann Cox, 51, of DeSoto died May 18, 2007, in Crystal City.  Mrs. Cox was employed in the clerical and records department of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.  She was a member of Amvets Post 48 Ladies Auxiliary and of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in DeSoto. Born Nov 20, 1955, in Mexico, Missouri, she was the daughter of H.L. Harrison Mordecai of DeSoto and the late Wanita (Jeffries) Mordecai. In addition to her fat her, she is survived by her husband, Roy G. Cox of DeSoto; three sons: Carly Portell of St. Louis, James (Rita) Cox of Ferguson and troy Cox (Michael Johnston) of St. Louis; one daughter: Sarah (Christopher) Chapman of Fairbanks, Alaska; six grandchildren: and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass was held May 22 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in DeSoto, officiated by the Rev. Ron Hopmeir.  Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in DeSoto.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto.

Bourbon, 78, formerly of Richwoods, died May 21, 2007, in Casper, Wyoming.  Mr. Bourbon was the proprietor of Dawn Industries in Casper, Wyoming.  He was born Nov 26, 1928, in Richwoods, Missouri, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Mae Jean Bourbon of Casper, Wyoming; two sons: Alan Bourbon of North Bend, Oregon, and Kent (Sharon) Bourbon of Sheridan, Wyoming.  and four granddaughters:  Jennifer, Amie, Kristi and Lisa Bourbon. Wallace Wayne Wills, 69, of DeSoto, died May 27, 2007, in DeSoto.  Mr. Wills was a machine operator and a member of the Church of Christ.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Born Jan 31, 1938, in Benton, Missouri, he was the son of the late Wallace Andrew and Theresa (Brasher) Wills. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Wills of DeSoto; two sons: David Wills of DeSoto and John (Norma Marie) Wills of Festus; one daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) Vannoy of DeSoto; one sister, Della Jo Frisby of Torrence, California; and eight grandchildren : Ryan Wills, Nick Wills, Trisha Koch, Dwayne Koch, Trevor Wills, Karlie Wills, Kimberly Vannoy and Kaitlynn Vannoy.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Joy Biondo; and one brother Robert Wills.Funeral services were held May 30 at Mahn Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Veronica Jean Jolly, 75, of Cadet died May 28, 2007, in Cadet.  Mrs. Jolly was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tiff, MO.  Born August 21, 1931 in Blackwell, Missouri.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Valle) Nash.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Jolly Sr. She is survived by four sons:  Steve (Lee Ann) Jolly of Cadet, John Jolly Sr. of Joplin, Bernard (Tina) Jolly Jr. of Cadet and Walter Holly of Daytona, Flo rida; two daughters: Glenda Jolly of Columbia and Brenda (Robert) Gunnett of DeSoto; one brother, Frank Nash of Arnold: eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Donald and Glennon Jolly. Funeral services were held June 1 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, officiated by the Rev. Ted Pieper.  Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in Blackwell.  Memorials may be made in the form of masses at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tiff.  Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto.

(wife-Charlene) Kelley of Imperial Missouri, son- Darrell W. (wife the late Martha) Kelley of Hillsboro Missouri, son- Steven D. Kelley of Hillsboro Missouri, daughter- Sandra J. Kelley of Vienna Missouri, daughter- Kristin R. Scott (nee Hertlein) of Imperial Missouri, brother- Donald Appleba of House Springs Missouri, and by 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Italian Air Force and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. Born Nov 5, 1922, in Ponza, Italy, he was the son of the late Biagio and Filomena (Conte) Pagano. He is survived by his wife, Dora (Puglisi); two sons: Biagio Pagano and Silverio (Debra) Pagano; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Mr. Greenfield was a retired custodian for the Jefferson R-7 School District and a truck driver for Twin City Packing. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1721 and Park View Baptist Church in DeSoto. Born Feb 16, 1932, in Risco, MO, he was the son of the late Bryan and Gertrude (Dodds) Greenfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (Polen) Greenfield. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Todd; two sisters: Virginia Mallot and Conda Sue Laster; a special friend, Jackie Reece; two grandchildren: Tony Todd and Tim (Tracy) Todd; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were May 16, 2007 at Mahn Twin City Chapel. Graveside service was May 17, 2007 at Malden City Cemetery before interment.

Born April 15, 1930, in Silica, MO, she was the daughter of the late David and Rachel (Horn) Peterein. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph "Randy" Schumer. She is survived by two daughters: Bonnie (David) DeNagel and Randa (Ray) Schmidt; two brothers: Eddie (Betty) Peterein and Harold (Eileen) Peterein; one sister, Dorothy Hendrix; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene "Doc" Peterein. Funeral services were May 23, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Crystal City, MO.

Barton; a son, Joshua Cabe (Maxine) Martin; a daughter, Angela Rae (Mike) Davis; five sisters: Karen Andrews, Donna Piskulic, Diane (Craig) Lifritz, Vickie (Craig) Wiley and Debbie (Mike) Krypciak; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Atwood, Jr. Funeral services were May 31, 2007 at Mahn Twin City Chapel. Cremation followed the services.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of VF W Post 3777. Born July 20, 1926, in Crystal City, he was the son of the late Walter and Charlotte A. (Danis) Burch. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna R. (Biehle) Burch. He is survived by his wife, May L. "Cookie" (Martin) Burch; four sons: James "Mike" (Beth) Burch, Paul W. Burch, Paul S. (Vickie) Hutto and Douglas Hutto; one daughter, Barbara Braun; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers; William E. Burch, Maurice S. Burch and Roger E. Burch: and two sisters: Bridget Mills and Mary Louise Burch. Funeral services were June 2, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
