Ethel F. Ramson, 83, of DeSoto died Aug 13, 2007, in Crystal City. Mrs. Ransom was a homemaker and member of Rose of Sharon Church. Born July 12, 1924, in Marble Hill, Mo., she was the daughter of the Ira and Nora Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ransom. She is survived by two sons: Richard (Linda) Webb of Cedar Hill and Michael (Honey) Ransom of Ellington, Mo.; one daughter, Wanda (John) Shockley of Arnold; two sisters: Esther (Carl) McKalip of DeSoto and Fay (Dale) Smith of DeSoto; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Denver Glen Webb; and one sister, Wilma Baugher. Funeral services were held Aug 17 at Mahn Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Carl McKalip. Burial was in the Plainview Cemetery in Marble Hill. Memorials may be made to Rose of Sharon Full Gospel Temple. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto. |
Elvin Ray Harris, 38 of Mineral Point died
Aug 13, 2007, in St. Louis. Mr. Harris was a self-employed carpenter and
enjoyed riding motorcycles. Born Jan 31, 1969 in Kirkwood, he was the s on
of Peter Harris of Cadet and Sharon (Steve) Dickinson of DeSoto. He was
preceded in death by his grandparents and two uncles. Funeral services were held
Aug 18 at Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in DeSoto. Memorials may be made in the
form of Masses. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home

Herman John "Bud" Jehle age 79 of Hillsboro
Missouri passed away in De Soto Mo.on Wednesday August 15, 2007. Born May 20,
1928 in St. Louis Mo. A 54-year member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in
Hillsboro Missouri, a W.W. II Navy Veteran andworked for A.T. & T. for 38 years
before his retirement. Survived by his wife Mary Louise Jehle (nee Becker), son-
Richard (Sandra) Jehle of Frisco TX, son- Stephen (Janis) Jehle of Hillsboro
Missouri, son Gregory Jehle of Hillsboro Missouri, son- Kurt (Pam) Jehle of
Wentzville Missouri, daughter- Susan (Steven) Cushing of St. Charles Missouri
and a brother Robert Jehle of Kirkwood Missouri. and a sister Rose Foppiano of
Brooklyn NY, also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Herman and Loretta Jehle (nee Lunsford).
Visitation Friday August 17, 2007 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Robert D. Brown
Funeral Home Inc. 103 fourth St. Hillsboro Missouri. Funeral Saturday prayers at
the Funeral Home at 9:30 AM then to Good Shepherd Catholic Church for Mass at 10

Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Hawkins, 63, of Piedmont
died Aug. 23, 2007, in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Hawkins was a security guard, a
Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a member of AMVETS Post 48 in
DeSoto. Born Aug 7, 1944, in Barnhart, he was the son of Bessie (Merseal)
Hawkins Walker of Coffeyville, Kansas, and the late John Hawkins. He is survived
by one son, Eric (Emilie) Hawkins of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Karen (James)
Crowley of Piedmont; one sister, Pam (Paul) Langford of Coffeyville, Kansas;
four grandchildren: Dustin Hawkins, Brittany Crowley, John Robinett and Daelynn
Bradley. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Woodrow Walker.
Funeral services were held Aug 26 at Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Peoples Community Bank in

Clyde George Robertson age 58, passed away on
Tuesday 08/28/2007 at his residence in De Soto Mo. Born January 30, 1949 in St.
Louis Missouri. Clyde owned Clyde G. Robertson and Associates, Private Probation
Services in Hillsboro Missouri, A member of the Hillsboro Lions Club, The
Greater Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce. and Redeemer Lutheran Church, De Soto
Missouri, Clyde also gave freely of his time to the community having
participating in the building of several Habitat for Humanity houses and was an
avid outdoorsman. He was a nature lover and cherished his pets Buffy, Patches
and Lily. Survived by his daughter- Heather (Samuel) Ventimiglia of Barnhart Mo,
daughter- Shelia Arndt of De Soto Mo, Brother Bruce (Margi) Robertson of
Wentzville Mo, Granddaughter- Anna E Ventimiglia of Barnhart Mo, grandson Ryan M
Arndt of De Soto. Granddaughter- Katherine R. Arndt De Soto Mo, and his former
wife of 23 years Karen A. Robertson (nee Simpson) of De Soto Mo. Preceded in

formerly of St Louis, died Aug 16, 2007, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in
Crystal City. She was a unit clerk at Barnes Hospital for 32 years. She was born
Aug 21, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glennon Weseman. She is
survived by six children; Loretta (Ron) Edwards, Lisa Weseman, Mark Weseman,
Rita (Brett) Haffley, Jon (Laura) Weseman and Teresa (Phil) Bolduc; eight
grandchildren; two great grandchildren. A memorial dinner was held Aug 18, 2007.
She donated her body to research at Washington University.
