Rebecca D. Sanders (nee Smreker) age 33 of Hillsboro Missouri passed away on March 2, 2008 at her residence in Hillsboro Missouri. Born July 8, 1974 in Crystal City Mo. Survived by husband- Jeff Sanders of Imperial Mo, parents -Chuck and Mary "Chris" Smreker (nee- Robinson) of DeSoto Mo, son- Tyler Smreker of DeSoto Mo, son- Kaden Sanders of Imperial Mo, daughter- Carlie Sanders of Imperial Mo, brother- Jim (Elissa) Bradford of St. Louis Mo, sister- Christy (Jeff) Sweeney of Hillsboro Mo, sister- Charla (Tyson) Duvall of Hillsboro Mo, grandparents- Charlie and Jean Smreker (nee Key) of Hillsboro Mo. nieces and nephews- Zachary Sloan, Ryan, Jacob, Emma and Chloe Wells, Hunter Duvall, Brianna Bradford, Tristen and Kaleb Sweeney. LLOYD S. ''BILL' WILKINSON, 84, of Festus, passed away March 1, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.  Mr. Wilkinson was a maintenance worker with the Fox School District for 14 years.  He had formerly worked at a grocery store in Fredericktown for 25 years.  He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Festus and enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.  Born July 5, 1923, in Fredericktown, he was the son of the late Abraham and Loucada (Childers) Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Loretta (Mills) Wilkinson of Festus;  five sons: Billy Ray (Charleen) Wilkinson of Ianthe, Mo., Henry (Wanda) Wilkinson of Arnold, Ted (Jane) Wilkinson of Clarksville, Mo., Charlie (Janet) Wilkinson of Festus and Tom (Rhonda) Wilkinson of Manhattan, Kansas; three daughters: Betty Ciolek of Affton, Ruth Grieshaber of St. Joseph and Nancy (Terry) White of Ottowa, Kansas; a brother, Abraham Wilkinson Jr., of Peoria, Illinois; two sisters: Rosemary Vaughn of Ste. Genevieve and Stella Parson of Granite City, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  He was pre ceded in death by three brothers: Kenneth, Woodrow and Glenwood Wilkinson and two sisters: Laura Bernam and Bernice Marsh. Funeral services were to be held March 5 at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Leonard Himes and the Rev. David McCutcheon.  Burial was in the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.  Memorials may be made to the Gideon Society, P.O. Chris Harper, 48, of Hillsboro passed away March 3, 2008, in Hillsboro.  Mr. Harper was a vinyl extruder for Borden Corp.  He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling on TV, working on autos and watching big truck competitions.  Born May 29, 1959, in St. Louis; he was the son of Evelyn (Schneider) Haithcoast of Festus and the late Raymond Harper. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca (GoForth) Harper of Hillsboro; one brother, James Haithcoat of Festus; one sister, Brenda Kay Harper of Festus; one stepsister Robin Marie Thorne of Florida; two nephews: Joshua Wendt and Zachary Wendt, and four sisters-in-laws: Carol, Judy, Donna and Brenda. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Eva Frances Colyer, Louis Dale Schneider and Mae and Owen Harper. Funeral services were held March 7 at Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto, officiated by the Rev. Velmer Holland, 79, of DeSoto passed away March 3, 2008 in DeSoto.  Mr. Holland was an assembler for General Motors.  He was a veteran of the U.S. military and a member of the Masons.  Born September 27, 1928 in Arkansas; he was the son of the late Narner and Darzie (Watson) Holland. He is survived by one daughter, Donna (Terry) Grant of Mt. Zion, Illinois; two sons:  Dickie L. (Cathy) Holland of Hillsboro and Kenneth (Jonell) Holland of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters:  Debbie Holland of California and Verline Spears of California; three brothers: Jim (Joan) Holland of St. Peters, Larry (Joyce) Holland of Hillsboro and Vance (Janice) of Farmington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Omer "John" Lloyd Lingo, 74, of Festus passed away Thurs, March 6, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Crystal City. He was retired owner of Lingo Welding. Born Nov 15, 1933, in Nason, IL, to the late Elmo and Lucille (Patoma) Lingo. Joyce Bequette, 78, of DeSoto passed away March 10, 2008, in De Soto.  Mrs. Bequette was an assembly worker for Prince Gardner.  Born March 8, 1930 in Rivermines, Missouri.  She was the daughter of the late Lee and Molly (Whitaker) Cash. She is survived by her husband, Edwin D. Bequette of DeSoto; one son, Michael (Karen) Bequette of St. Louis; one daughter, LaDonna Bequette of DeSoto; four sisters: Della Wallace of St. Louis, Stella Boswell of St. Louis, Peggy (James) Karsch of Oakville and Marilyn Cochran of Park Hills; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. "Addie" Scott, 99, of DeSoto passed away March 10, 2008 in DeSoto.  Mrs. Scott was a custodian with American Charter Bank.  She was a member of Redeemer Luther Church, where she was involved in the church's quilting group.  Born Oct 21, 1908, in Caledonia, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Willian H. and Ethel (Martin) Yeargain.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Scott.  She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews; and one great-niece, Edith Anderson of Herculaneum. Funeral services were held March 15 at Redeemer Luther Church in DeSoto, officiated by the Rev. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of Morse Mill Baptist Church. Survived by; daughter- Brenda (Ken) Crews of Hillsboro MO, daughter- Sue ( J.R.) Hubbs of Salem MO, son- Dennis (Cheryl) Mauzy of Hattisburg MS, grandson Marty ( Stacy) Crews of St Louis Missouri. And great-grandchildren Mitchell and Samantha Crews. Also Survived by 7 grandchildren. And 11 other great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by; husband- Lloyd Mauzy, sisters- Ruth Golden, Edna Gattis and Ruby Reynolds. DORIS LEA ALDEN-DECLUE, 67, formerly of DeSoto passed away on March 11, 2008, in Claremore, Oklahoma.  Mrs. Alden-DeClue was a teacher at Vineland Elementary School and a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in DeSoto.  Born October 26, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of the late Henry Homer and Wilma (Blackard) Ward.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Wallace Joseph Alden. She is survived by her husband Joseph N. DeClue of Claremore, Oklahoma; one son, J ohn Stephen (Laura) Alden of DeSoto; three daughters: Lea Ellen (Todd) Whitehead of Lamar, Missouri, Courtney (Christopher Cook) Alden of DeSoto and Kay-Lynn Alden of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers Homer B. Ward of Ft. Worth, Texas and Richard (Evelyn) W. Ward of Claremore, Oklahoma; two stepsons: James Allen DeClue of DeSoto and Troy Joseph DeClue of O'Fallon, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Ann Marie Devine of DeSoto; 21 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. DAVID PAUL COURTAWAY, 71, of Licking, Missouri, formerly of DeSoto, passed away March 17, 2008 in Houston, Missouri.  Mr. Courtaway was a truck driver for Majestic Metals Company.  He was a member of the DeSoto VFW Post 1831 and enjoyed hunting.  Born October 24, 1936 in Tiff, Missouri; he was the son of the late Joseph Courtaway and Anna Valle (Ray) Perry.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Brock) Courtaway and one son, Jason Courtaway. He is survived by four daughters:  Tanya (Dannie) Pogue of Licking, Tina Usiak of O'Fallon, Debbie Houghton of Chaffee and Anna (Steve) Wills of Jackson, Missouri; one brother Bill Perry of Piedmont; two sisters:  Blanche Anderson of Arnold and JoAnn (Tony) DeClue of Arizona; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Lucille Imfeld, 87, of Crystal City, formerly of St. Louis County, passed away March 20, 2008, in Crystal City.  Mrs. Imfeld was a caregiver in the medical field.  She enjoyed dancing.  Born January 14, 1921 in St. Louis; she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Nora Halley.  She was preceded in death by her husband Brunell Imfeld. She is survived by two sons:  Donald Imfeld of Ste. Genevieve and Gary (Yvonne) Imfeld of Lonedell; one daughter Rose laemmel of DeSoto, two sisters: Lorran Wilhelm of St. Clair and Eleen (Walter) Smith of Leadwood; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Halley. Leon E. "Dude" Latham, 29, of Festus passed away March 23, 2008 in Festus. He was a laborer with G-Sell Concrete. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born Jan 24, 1979, in St Louis, to Dorothy (Coleman) Richardson and the late Constance Leon Latham.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah (Bequette) Latham of Festus; son, Jordan Latham; daughter: Kiley Latham; aunt and uncle: Barb and Jerry Coleman of Hematite; three brothers: Jerry Coleman, Jr of Festus, Robert Coleman of Fe stus and Curtis Craig, Jr of Fenton; four sisters: Tracey Latham of St Louis, Jamie Coleman of Hematite, Kelly Tucker of Affton and Lisa Kopf of O'Fallon, MO.Funeral service was Wed, March 26, 2008 at Mahn Twin City Chape l. After service he was cremated and was buried in Hematite Methodist Cemetery.

Leland L. Bronaugh, 75, of Hillsboro passed away March 24, 2008 at his Hillsboro residence. He was a retired supervisor for Merck Co. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, working in the yard and spending time with his family. Born Sep 3, 1932, in Childress, AR, to the late John and Ethel ( Collins) Bornaugh. He is survived by his wife Margaret ( Hill) Bronaugh, two sons: Terry Bronaugh of DeSoto and Kevin Bronaugh of Hillsboro; three daughters: Beverly "Sue" (Michael) Moo re of Westfield, IN, Debra Bronaugh of Festus and Sally (Randy) Buckner of Fair Grove, MO; a sister, Elva Stewart of Monette, AR; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah (Merrimen) Bronaugh; three brothers: G.T., John and Bill Bronaugh; and three sisters: Leona Ware, Mary Mangrum and Creola Bronaugh. Visitation was Fri, March 28, 2008 at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus and service was Sat, March 29, 2008 at Sandy Baptist Church, Hillsboro. Interment was in Sandy Baptist Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Evelyn Krysl, 89, of Hillsboro passed away March 24, 2008 in Festus.  Mrs. Krysl was a custodian and member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in DeSoto. Born October 25, 1918 in Greenville, Ohio; she was the daughter of the late Peter Thomas and Jennie May (Williams) Mayer. She is survived by two sons:  Dale Krysl of Hillsboro and Danny (Donna) Krysl of Pevely; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Bill Mayer and Jack Mayer. Funeral services were held March 29, 2008 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiated by Rev. Robert Francis Harris, 62, of Bismarck, MO (formerly of Crystal City) passed away March 28, 2008 at Parkland Hospital, Farmington, MO. He was a US Army veteran who served in Viet Nam. He was awarded two Purple Hearts and a Gold Star medal. Born Nov 4, 1945, in St Louis, to the late Clayton and Irene (Rickman) Harris. He is survived by two brothers: Norman Wayne ( Eileen) Harris of Holden, MO, James Paul ( Daryl) Harris of Crystal City; two sisters: N. "Marie" Harris of Houston, TX and C.B.
