IL (formerly of Barnhart, MO) passed away Sept 2, 2008 in Maplewood, MO. She was
a retired bookkeeper for Blitz Real Estate in University City. She is preceded
in death by her husband, John David Hall. She is survived by a son, John "Jack"
(Connie) Hall of Foristell, MO and a daughter, Patricia (William) Middeke of
Eden Prairie, MN; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service

Jaymes Dale "Jay" McGahan, age 20 of
Dittmer Mo. Passed away on Friday September 5, 2008 in Dittmer Mo as a result of
injuries received in a vehicle accident. Born February 21, 1988 in St. Louis
County Missouri. He was a 2006 graduate of Hillsboro High School, played on the
school Golf Team, was a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, attended college at St. Louis
University, University of Missouri St. Louis and was currently a student at
Washington University, Member of Mensa International and worked at Sears in
Fenton as a Receiving Manager. Survived by his parents- John Michael and Anna
McGahan of Kirkwood Mo and Julie Ann and Russ Hilton (nee Phillips) of Dittmer
Mo, sister – Elizabeth Bamrick of Kirkwood Mo, grandparents- Ann McGahan of
Florissant Mo. and J. Dale and Lucreta Phillips (nee Walling) of Walnut Ridge
Arkansas. Preceded in death by his grandfather- Paul McGahan. Visitation will be
held Tuesday September 9, 2008 from 3:00 until 7:30 PM at Robert D. Brown
Funeral Home 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro Mo. Funeral will follow the visitation at

Edna Mary Klobe,
88, of Festus passed away September 8, 2008, at Baisch Nursing Home in DeSoto.
Mrs. Klobe was a supply clerk with Jefferson Memorial Hospital and a member of
Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. Born September 8, 1920, in Overland,
Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Duvall) Hagan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Klobe. She is survived by a
son, David (Brenda) Hlobe of Columbus, Georgia; three daughters; Mary Flecke of
Crystal City, Shirley Cole of Festus and Donna (Joseph) Arnold of Festus; 12
grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Smith; a sister, Ermalee
Vinyard; and three brothers: Thomas, orvall and Melvin Hagan. Funeral services
are scheduled for 10 a.m. today (September 11) at Mahn Twin City Chapel in
Festus. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials
may be made to Sacred Heart Church or to the family. Arrangements are

Stanford L. Pratt,
63, of Hillsboro passed away September 8, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in
Crystal City. Mr. Pratt was a graphic artist for Starr Graphics in St.
Louis and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Born August 8, 1945, in St.
Louis, he was the son of Lona (Lemmons) Pratt and the late Kelly S. Pratt. In
addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Catherine Pratt of
Hillsboro; a daughter, Joy L. Brockel of Torrington, Wyoming; two sons: Joel
Pratt of Irvine, California and Kenli G. Pratt of Atlanta, Georgia; and a
granddaughter, Skylar B. Pratt. Visitation is at 10a.m. and funeral services are
scheduled at 11:30a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2008 at Mahn Twin City Chapel,
Festus. Burial is in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.

Paul Curtis Reddick,
59, of Crystal City passed away on September 7, 2008 at his home. Mr.
Reddick was a member of Mississippi River Eagles and the Glassworkers Country
Club and was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 253 in Festus.
Born August 24, 1949, in Perryville, he was the son of Velda and Marvin Reddick
of Crystal City. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers:
Mark (Sally) Reddick of St. Charles and Mike (Debbie) Reddick of Festus. Funeral
services were to be held September 10 at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to

Missouri, as well as six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in

John Wayne Crew, Jr.-
52, of DeSoto died September 8, 008 in Moberly. Mr. Crew was a forklift
driver and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed softball and
other sports. Born December 18, 1955, in St. Louis; he was the son of
Alice (Ferris) Frank of DeSoto. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a
daughter, Jessica Crew of Arnold; one son, John Crew of St. Louis; seven
brothers: Carl (Samantha) Frank of DeSoto, Marty Crew of St. Louis, Jerry Crew
of DeSoto, Don Crew of DeSoto, Wayne Crew of St. Louis, Paul (Donata) Crew of
DeSoto and Steven (Liz) Frank of St. Louis; five sisters: Patty (Bruce) Lipe of
St. Louis, Diane Crew of St. Louis, Donna (Craig) Legens of Cedar Hill, Darlene
Crew of Georgia and Paula (Bruce) Backof of DeSoto; his former wife, Kelly
(Collins) Crew of Fenton; his stepfather, Paul Frank of DeSoto; and three

HELEN M. JACKSON, 81, of DeSoto passed away
September 2, 2008 in Crystal City. Mrs. Jackson worked at the DeSoto Shoe
Factory for 20 years and also was a homemaker. She was a member of St.
Rose of Lima Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Born
March 24, 1927 in Cruise, she was the daughter of the late Robert James and Mary
Mamie (Catlett) Recar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L.
Jackson. She is survived by two daughters: Marjorie (Garry) Head of Richwoods
and Gale (Stanley) Sansoucie of DeSoto; five grandchildren: Stacey, Robert,
Anna, Stanely Jr., and Jamie; and nine great-grandchildren: Caleb, Casey, Jayme,
Dylan, T.J., Kasey, Logan, Ariana and Dominique. She was preceded in death
by four sisters: Mary Chazelle, Sr. Mary Alda, Rachel Recar and Iola Daugherty;
and four brothers: Bernard Recar, Lawrence Recar, Michael Recar and Robert Recar.
Funeral services were held September 5, 2008 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church
in DeSoto, officiated by the Rev. Alex Anderson. Burial was in the

Ethel Glore-Bone,
90, of Festus passed away September 19, 2008 in Festus. Mrs. Glore-Bone
was the owner of Eastside Tavern and Southend Tavern and enjoyed cooking.
Born August 14, 1918 in Bliss, she was the daughter of the late Francis Theodore
and Ollie Marie (Jones) Sansoucie. She was preceded in death by her first
husband, John Glore. She is survived by her husband, Elvin "EJ" Bone of Festus;
one sister, Beulah "Bonnie" (Ben) Schumsky of Lansing, Michigan; and a number of
nieces and nephews including Edward Martin of Festus. She was preceded in
death by five sisters: Alvanette Collette, Vergie Martin, Geraldine Sansoucie,
Edith Viverette and Estelle Sansoucie; and three brothers: Buster Sansoucie,
Elmer Sansoucie and Sidney Sansoucie. Funeral services were held September 20,
at Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto, officiated by the Rev. Alex Anderson.

preceded in death by her husband, Harold William Terrell and a daughter,
Patricia Ann Terrell. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jean (Joe) Atkisson
of Festus; sister, Neva Lee Dingus of Nixa, MO; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great

army veteran and was active in the performing arts theater at Webster University

preceded in death by her husband, Nay Paul Smith. She is survived by one sister,
