Timothy James Broombaugh, age 51 of Festus, Missouri passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was born May 24, 1958 in St. Louis the son of Betty (nee Ruebel) Broombaugh and the late James Oman Broombaugh. In addition to his mother he is survived by sons Andrew James Broombaugh of St. Louis, Adam James Broombaugh of Festus, sisters Rebecca L. Smith of Acworth, Georgia, Elizabeth K. (Joel) Trussell of Bethany, Illinois, Mary T. (Richard) Baptista of Lone Jack, Missouri, Sarah L. (Leon) Carr of Festus and Martha “Molly” (Mike) Jaskiewicz of Festus.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Nate, Teresa and Sam Smith, Daniel and Emilee Trussell, Tyler and Alexandra Cook, Seth Perkins, Matthew Baptista, Logan and Grace Jaskiewicz and Jacob, Corey and Katelyn Carr. He was a driver for the Jefferson County Highway Department and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely, Missouri. Memorial Services 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 8, 2010, Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely with Rev. Harold Luckritz, Associate Pastor officiating. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pevely.  Memorials preferred to the Zion Lutheran Building Fund.

Patsy Ann Lee, 74 of Sullivan, Missouri formerly of Barnhart, Missouri passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at Festus, Missouri.  She was born November 9, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Stella (nee Keeney) and William Coppedge, Sr. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother William Coppedge, Jr. and a nephew, Christopher McLafferty. She is survived by a sister, Judy (John) Davis of Owensville, Missouri, daughters Robin (George N., Jr.) Hall of Festus, Missouri, Nancy (Jeff) Rehm of Herculaneum, Missouri, step-daughter Terry (Kenny) Buneta of Kokomo, Indiana, 3 grandchildren, Tom (Heather) Hall, Sara (Josh) Bishop, Jason Rehm, 3 step-grandchildren, Jodi Woodcock, Robert Lovvorn, Danny Lovvorn, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, a nephew Patrick McLafferty and 1 grand-nephew. She was a Cashier at Price Chopper in House Springs, Missouri. Tommy W. Hagan, 51, of DeSoto (formerly of Pevely) passed away on Tuesday, May 4 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired supervisor at Doe Run Company and a member of the Kruisers Car Club, Classy Chaisse and Highway Rockers. Born January 27, 1959 in Crystal City, MO to the late Thomas L. and Alta Mae (Ramsey) Hagan. He is survived by his wife: Carol (Naderman) Hagan of DeSoto, sons: Tommy (Angie) Hagan II of DeSoto, Dave (Tricia) Johnson of Festus, and J.J. Johnson of Festus, grandchildren: Jessica, Brandon, Devin, Katlynn, Sydney and Zach, sisters: Shirley (Tom) Feller of Pevely, Rita Worley of Pevely and Linda (Val) Mooney of Birch Tree, MO and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents,,he was preceded in death by a grandchild: Austin and a sister: Mary Sheffield. Funeral service to be held Friday, May 7 at 10:00 am at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus. Lester William Dreiman, 83, of Festus, Missouri passed away May 5, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Missouri.  He was born November 15, 1926 in Odon, Indiana the son of the late Ellen (nee Wissinger) and John W. Dreiman.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Donna Lee (nee Flinn) Dreiman. His survived by his second wife Buna L. (nee Adams) Glore-Dreiman, sons Tom (Melanie) Dreiman of Saudi Arabia, Robert Neal Dreiman of Festus, Missouri, Gregory (Alecia) Glore of Festus, Timothy (Terry) Glore of Festus, Brad (Jackie) McMahon of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, daughter Kristie (Matthew) Glore-Martin of New Jersey, grandchildren Quintin Martin, Joshua Gamble, Nicholas (Jocelyn) Glore, Nichole (Adam) Lewis, Timothy J. Glore, Adam Martin, Brandon Glore, Michaela Glore, Kyle Glore, Kaleb Glore, Tyler McMahon, Reanna McMahon, Haley Martin, Rebecca Martin, Colin McMahon, Dashia McMahon and Jonathan McMahon.  He is also survived by one brother Earl R. Howard James Callahan, 91 of Herculaneum, Missouri, formerly of East St. Louis, Illinois passed away May 5, 2010 at Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Herculaneum.  He was born April 30, 2010 in East St. Louis, Illinois the son of the late Pearl (nee Heine) and Walter Callahan.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his former wife Margaret “Billie” (nee Adams) Callahan, son Robert Steven (the late Peggy) Callahan, brothers Dennis, Jack, Bill and Murrell Callahan and sister Patricia King.  He is survived by sons Larry James (Betty) Callahan of Fenton, Missouri, Jerry Norman (Pat) Callahan of Clarksville, Tennessee, Martin Lou (Marlene) Callahan of Ocala, Florida, daughter Marlene Sue (Edward) Bolten of Jacksonville, Florida (Twin to Martin), sister Jean Bierey of Fairview Heights, Illinois, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Williams and a brother Harold Beckham. She is survived by a daughter Darlene Y. (Richard) Drury of Festus, two sisters Wanda (Charles) Bellville of Oakville, Missouri, Judy G. (Don) Welch of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, a brother Alman Ray (Carole) Beckham of Festus, two granddaughters,  Sarah J. (Derrick) Taylor, Emily Drury and 3 great-granddaughters, Hailey Vessels, Olivia Taylor and Adison Taylor. She was a Retired Insurance Agent for National Life Insurance Company, a Broker with Schultz Anderson Insurance Agency, a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Association of Festus and a member of First United Methodist Church of Festus. Bradford, age 86 of De Soto, Missouri, passed away May 9, 2010 at The Villa’s in De Soto, Missouri. He was a crane operator for Pittsburg Plate Glass and with his wife owned and operated the Crystal City Hotel. He was born June 20, 1923 in De Soto, Missouri, and was the son of the late George Paul and Katherine (nee Koch) Bradford. He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen (nee Alderson) Bradford. She was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Born November 28, 1951, in St Louis, to the late Joseph and Ethel (Reimund) Alagna. Vernon Kirchner, 83, of Cadet, passed away on May 15, 2010 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was born May 22, 1926 in St. Louis; he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Hilda (Nachtweih) Kirchner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle (Drennen) Kirchner. Vernon was a steelworker for J.S. Alberici Company and Stupp Brothers. He served in the US Army during World War II. Vernon liked to go to the senior center, enjoyed dancing; and he was a people person. Vernon was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Kirchner was the father of Doyle (Tracy) Kirchner of Cadet, Darlene (Jim) McBride of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Mary Eckhoff of Cadet; he was the grandfather of ten grandchildren and great-grandfather of 23 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Orville Kirchner and Arthur Kirchner and a sister, Dorothy Kirchner. Ronald Massey will officiate the funeral service. Jane K. (Thebeau) Pashia, 54, passed away in DeSoto on May 16, 2010 at her home. Jane was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on July 24, 1955; she was the daughter of the late Donald and LaVerne (Lancaster) Thebeau. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William Pashia, Sr. Jane was a homemaker; she enjoyed reading and working puzzles. Mrs. Pashia is also survived by sons: Charles (Angela) Kyle of Valley Park, William Pashia, Jr., O'Fallon, David Pashia of DeSoto, John (Nina) Pashia of Herculaneum, Jeffrey (Sue) Pashia of Springfield and a daughter, Brenda Shadowen of Festus; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four brothers: Wayne Thebeau, DeSoto, Danny Thebeau of Bonne Terre, Jerry Thebeau of DeSoto and Steve Thebeau of Potosi; five sisters: Debbie Williams of Irondale, Tammy McMahon of Potosi, Nancy Crosby of Arizona, Patty Dean of Connecticut and Donna Cauley, Bonne Terre. She was a retired school teacher and member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Hillsboro Missouri and alumni of Fontbonne College. Carol and her husband David were married July 23, 1966, in Spanish Lake, Missouri. Carol dedicated her life to God, family and others. Robert Andrew “Bob” Gettinger, age 79 of Festus, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his residence.  He was born July 3, 1930 in Crystal City, Missouri the son of the late Oscar Henry and Lottie Catherine (nee Samson) Gettinger. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Alaine Marie Gettinger, two sisters Anita Marie (the late Dr. Paul) Parashak and Laverne (the late Dr. John) Watkins. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita (nee Martin) Gettinger of Festus, two daughters Ann M.Gettinger and Kathy Ellis and Jane (Dave) Siebert, both of Festus and two grandchildren, Sidney and Sunita Siebert. He was a lineman for Union Electric for 40 years, a member of Church of Our Lady, Knights of Columbus #1230 and a charter member of Plattin Rock Boat Club founded in 1956. Wes Johnston, 66, of DeSoto entered into rest May 25, 2010 in St. Louis. Mr. Johnston was born February 28, 1944 in St. Louis; he was the son of the late Carl and Alice (Ohms) Johnston. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Karen (Rencehausen) Johnston of DeSoto. Mr. Johnston was owner of Wes Johnston Construction for 42 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1721 of Festus. Wes liked working, hunting and fishing. Mr. Johnston was the father of Wes A. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by an infant brother, Keith Bieller. Rita Ann Carey, 48, of Festus entered into rest Fri, May 28, 2010 in St Louis, MO. In previous years she had worked at Jeffco Subcontracting through a workshop program. Born April 26, 1962, in St Louis, to Vivian (Meyer) Bonds of Festus and Walter Neil Carey, Sr of Pevely. In addition to her parents she is survived by brothers: Wally N. (Mary) Carey of Pevely and David (Donna) Boisey of St Louis; sisters: Maureen (Donnie) Gregorzcyk of St Louis and Marleen (Art) Mays; numerous "sissys": Terry, Brenda & Dawn; nephews: Wally (Summer) Carey and Cedrick (Tasha) Pratt; great niece, Kylee; great-nephew, C.J.; special godmother, Aunt Nora (Max) Turner of Festus; cousins and dear friends at Festus Manor. She enjoyed using sign language to her favorite hymns during Church service. Mommy's "Pumpkin" was a special blessing who was always full of hugs and smiles for everyone that knew and loved her. Roscoe Stringer, age 82, of Pevely, Missouri passed away Friday May 28, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri.  He was born July 3, 1927 in Washington County, Missouri the son of the late Robert and Lilly Mae (nee Wilkerson) Stringer.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sons, Herschel Leroy Stringer and Roger Dale Stringer, daughters, Jean Morris and Lilly Mae Davis, a sister Hazel Quillman and brothers, Erlyn, Herbert, Harry, Howard, Lonnie, Floyd, Theodore and Herschel Stringer. He is survived by his wife Ruth “Jewel” (nee Brakefield) Stringer of Pevely, a son Randy (Robin) Stringer of DeSoto, Missouri, daughters Gladys (John) Heil of Crystal City and Nancy (Jerry) Jackson of Festus, Missouri.  He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Donald "Donnie" M. Coker, Jr., 44, of Hillsboro, MO passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at his residence. He was a mechanical contractor for Anheuser Busch. He was a former graduate and basketball star at Hillsboro High School, an art graduate of Webster Groves, a painter/artist with over 500 paintings. He loved fishing and his dogs "Genie" and "Daisy". Born September 18, 1965, in Crystal City to Sharon K (Pitzer) and Donald M. Coker Sr of Hillsboro. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 14 years: Linda C (McDaniel) Coker of Hillsboro, daughters: Christina and Sheri, son: Danny, brother: Jason Coker of St Louis, and sister: Nicole (Harry) Bauer of Fenton. Leona Mae Gall, age 75, of Manchester, Tennessee passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her son’s home in Cedar Hill, Missouri.  She was born April 18, 1935 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas the daughter of the late Lowell and Lorene (nee Henry) Cassidy.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Gall, a daughter, Cheri Arena and a sister Jean (Buster survives) Weems. She is survived by four sons, Kenneth (Terry) Gall of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Rocky Gall of Fenton, Missouri, Gary (Connie) Gall of Manchester, Tennessee, David (Susan) Gall of Humboldt, Tennessee, brothers Floyd Cassidy and Charles Cassidy of St. Francois County, Missouri and a sister Matilda Cassidy of St. Francois County. She was a retired Production Supervisor, a member of Highcrest United Methodist Church in Otto, Missouri and the United Methodist Women’s Organization. Coleman Law Office, former municipal judge of Festus, and a member of the Festus/Crystal City Kiwanis, Elks Lodge #1721, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Born January 30, 1949, in St Louis, Missouri to the late Herbert L. Coleman and Mary Elma (Boyer)  Drozkowski. In addition to his parents,he was also preceded in death by his wife: Jacqueline (Masters) Coleman. He is survived by his special friends: Tina Vivrett of DeSoto, Debbie Pinson of Festus and Mike and Kelly Bullerdieck of Perryville. Harry A. Dotson, 85, passed away in Cape Girardeau, on Monday, May 31, 2010. He was a retired mechanical engineer at Sverdrup and Parcel. Mr. Dotson was a World War II veteran who served in the United States Army. He played guitar for over 50 years. Born December 8, 1924 in St Louis, MO to the late Harry and Charlotte (Istock) Dotson. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce (Cantrell) Dotson of St Louis, son; Robert (Julie) Dotson of Colorado, daughters: Katheryn (Robert) Grassie of Texas, Julie (Chris) Argint of St Louis, stepdaughter: Joyce Fitzsimmons of St Louis, grandchildren: Tony, Kim, Celia, Christa, Nicholas, Caitlyn and Erin, and great grandchild: Nicholas. He was an Army/Air Force Veteran of World War II, a Tool and Die Maker for a Hospital Fixtures Manufacturer, a member of the International Association of Aerospace Workers and Machinists #688. Robert Coleman Rupp, Jr., age 56, of Pevely, Missouri passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at his residence.  He was born September 17, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Rupp. He is survived by his wife, Helen (nee Bollinger) Rupp of Pevely, three sons, Jesse Rupp of Farmington, Missouri, Jason Wayne Chapell of Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, Robert Coleman Rupp, III of Fairfield, California and one daughter Misty Rupp of Fairfield, California.  He is also survived by five grandchildren. Born June 19, 1935 in St. Louis; he was the son of the late Oswin Eric and Florence Mary (nee Holmes) Stopp. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Martha (nee Sanders) Stopp of DeSoto. Carl was senior programmer for Boatmens National Bank. He was a member of the DeSoto Elks Lodge #689 and DeSoto AmVets Post #48. Mr. Stopp was the dear father of Troy D. (Kimberly) Stopp of Hillsboro, Carl "Eric" (Amy) Stopp of DeSoto and Taren J. (John) Mathews-Wilson also of Hillsboro; he was the dear grandfather of Stephanie, Christopher, Emily and Nicholas.
