Leona Annie Clonts, age 94, of Crystal City, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  She was born February 1, 1917 in Ozora, Missouri the daughter of the late Elizabeth (nee Wieberry) and Joseph Myers.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Jesse O. Clonts, a son Glenwood James Clonts, sisters Hilda Kennedy and late husband Paul J., Mary Ellen Myers who died in infancy, a brother Gilbert Myers and late wife Justine and a brother-in-law Dalton Stanford. She is survived by a son Mark Clonts and wife Donna of Festus, a sister Bertha Stanford of Cahokia, Illinois, grandchildren James O. Clonts and wife Cindy of Peachtree City, Georgia, Michael Clonts and wife Emily of Festus and great-grandchildren Alexandria, Jacob, Joshua, Sara and Josie Clonts. Visitation at Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church, Crystal City, Missouri officiated by Fr. James “David” Fite, age 59, of Herculaneum, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was born August 25, 1952 in Festus, Missouri the son of Irene Lucille (nee Vest) Fite of Festus and the   late Davis Buchanan Fite.   In addition to his father his is preceded in death by his first wife Carolyn (nee Roderick) Fite. In addition to his mother his is survived by his wife Sherree’ (nee Felgate) Faries-Fite, a sister Ellen L. (Diane Penny) Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri, step-children Carl, Denise, Kelley, Danielle, special “adopted” son Nathan and step-grandchildren Zach, Tyler, Austin, Brooklyn, Sylas and Zander. He was a 40 year machinist with Nestle-Purina, St. Louis, Missouri, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Festus, Past Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge #1721, Past Commander of Plattin-Rock Boat Club and member of Hyway Rockers Car Club. Visitation at Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus, Monday, December 5, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Services Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Elaine L. Moen, age 92, of Crystal City, MO, entered into rest on Friday, Decemer 2, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born on May 7, 1919, to the late James "Wesley" and Olive (Bellefeuille) Tucker. She is survived by her son; Keith Moen of St Louis, grandchildren: Peter Moen, Melissa Moen and Heather Moen, and great grandchildren: Logan Moen, Leyton Moen and Liam Moen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Henry M Moen, son: Stephen Moen, and brothers: Woodrow Tucker, Gene Tucker and Gerald Tucker. Ms. Moen was a homemaker who previously served as a Sunday school teacher. She loved playing cards and traveling. Private services by Mahn Festus Chapel

Eugenia "Jeannie" (Brock) Buster, 71 of DeSoto entered into rest on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1940 in Mississippi; she was the daughter of Gene Brock of DeSoto and the late Ruth (Harding) Brock. She is survived by her loving husband, Flavy L. Buster of DeSoto. Jeannie was an assembler for the Chrysler Corporation. She was member of the UAW Local 110 and she enjoyed going to the casinos. Mrs. Buster is survived by her husband, her father, Gene (Iris) Brock of DeSoto; a son, Richard Repp, Jr. of DeSoto, MO; daughters: Penny (Gary) Davis of Pevely and Joy (Doug) Conway of Horine and Step-children: Todd Buster of New Orleans, LA, Penny (Ray) Bischoff of St. Louis, Pam (Andy) Pease of Naples, FL and Lori Buster of St. Charles; two brothers, Alvie Brock and Jackie Brock of DeSoto; and a sister, Judy (Nick) Zoph of Nashville, TN; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Buster was preceded in death by her mother and two sisters, MaDonna Johnson and Joyce Courtaway. Pastor Harold Hurtgen will be officiating the funeral ceremony. Lucille Marie Thost, 85, of DeSoto entered into rest on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Hillcrest Nursing Center. Mrs. Thost was a machine operator for the DeSoto Shoe Factory. She was a life time member of DeSoto VFW Ladies Auxiliary and she loved gardening and baking. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Lucille was born May 14, 1926 in Fertile; she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sarah Margaret (nee Valle) Moss. Her husband, Max E Thost Sr. preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Max "Ed" (Mary) Thost, Jr., DeSoto; a brother, Carl Moss, DeSoto; two sisters: Teresa Bequette and Alice (Robert) Koch all of DeSoto; three grandchildren: Melissa (Steve Miller), Michelle (Heath) and Kathy; six great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Christy, Sierra, Jasmine, Ariel, Destiny. Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Valle and Helen Sansoucie; a brother, Paul Moss, and two sisters, Clista Lambert and Pauline Sansoucie and a grandson, David. James T. Hooker, age 80, of Festus (formerly of Springhill, Louisiana) entered into rest Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center, Festus. He was the owner of 3 Way Auto in Festus which later was moved to Taylor, Arkansas; he was a member of Springhill Pentecostal Church, a U.S. Army veteran, minister, an auxiliary policeman in Springhill, coin collector, stock car driver and builder and he enjoyed fishing and working at his dealership. Born December 25, 1930, in Steele, Missouri, to the late Paul and Eunice (Poyner) Hooker. He is survived by his loving family which includes sons: Ronald (Kimbra) Hooker of DeSoto, MO and Gregory (Kimberly) Hooker of Festus, MO; daughters: Karen (Joey) Cardin of Arnold, MO, Melanie (Aaron) Braswell of Festus, MO, Pauletta Hooker of Licking, MO, Frankie (Dennis) Federle of Elsah, IL and Carolyn (Rick) Stugeon of Osage Beach, MO; friend, Jackie Sewald of Festus, MO; sister-in-law, Ruby Hooker of Springfield, MO; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sons: Jimmy Hooker and Rodney Hooker; and a brother, Paul Hooker. Pastor Michael Trammell will officiate service. Pearl Mary “Polly” Gaines, age 84 of Herculaneum, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Scenic View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Herculaneum. She was born November 17, 1927 in Festus, Missouri the daughter of the late Pearl Mary (nee Carpenter) and Joseph Eisnogle.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Norvel “Bud” Gaines, a daughter Gail F. Lucas, and sisters Dorothy M. Korff, Jeanette Scaggs, Hazel Emma Berlet, Helen Louise Poole, Norma Stringer and her late husband Jim and a grandson Matthew Lucas. She is survived by a daughter Patricia Ann McDaniel of Hillsboro, Missouri, grandchildren Kelly Ruff of Festus and Tashia Abry and husband Dennis of Charlottesville, Virginia and a great-grandson Sam Ruff.  In addition she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a secretary for the Department of the Army in St. Louis, Missouri. Private Family Services to be conducted at a later date.

Charles T. Borrini, age 61, of De Soto, Missouri, passed away on December 7, 2011, in St. Louis County, Missouri. He was born November 30, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri. Charles and his wife Laura were married on December 18, 1976, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the owner of JCM Machine and Coatings in House Springs, Missouri. He was a former Hunter Education Instructor, former leader of the Boy Scouts and Explorers, and a member of First Baptist Church Hillsboro, Missouri. Charles had a passion for cooking. He is survived by, Wife-Laura M. Borrini (nee Sutterfield), of De Soto, Missouri, Son-Nicholas (Ginger) Borrini, of Arnold, Missouri, Son-Travis (Nicole) Borrini, of De Soto, Missouri, Daughter-Sabrina Borrini, of De Soto, Missouri, Sister-Marie Regna, of Hillsboro, Missouri, Brother-John Borrini, of Festus, Missouri, Granddaughter-Hailey Borrini, of De Soto, Missouri, Grandson-Vincent Borrini, of De Soto, Missouri. Alroy Frances Becquette, 80, of Crystal City entered into rest Dec 8, 2011 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus. He was born March 23, 1931, in Crystal City, to the late Wyatt and Gladys (Hampton) Becquette. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Kinder) Becquette and son, Henry Boone. He is survived by sons: Alroy Becquette, Jr and Joseph (Jacquelyn) Becquette; daughters: Linda Kay Becquette, Erma Becquette, Jacqueline Bolton, Brenda Bequette and Esther Douthitt; 19 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Bobby L. Skaggs, 76, St Louis, MO (formerly of Festus, MO) entered into rest Thursday, December 9, 2009. He was a retired Lieutenant for Jefferson County Police Department and had been a driver for Uregas and a US Marine veteran who had served in the Korean War. Born January 26, 1933, i Potosi, Missouri, to the late William and Rose (Lamar) Skaggs. He is survived by sons: Gordon (Barb) Douglas of St Louis, MO, Micheal Murphy of Hillsboro, MO and Bobby (Melinda) Skaggs of High Ridge, MO; daughters: Lynn (Bill) Lowry of St Louis, MO, Gloria Douglas-Boley of St Louis, MO and Deb (Tod) Bennett of Carpinteria, CA; sister, Janet Bridges of Lake Wappepello, MO; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. He loved playing the guitar and played in "The Misfits" band for many years. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3777 and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Jesse A. Clark, Age:  32, of St. Ann, MO, passed away December 14, 2011 in St. Ann, MO. He was an Assembly worker. Born May 12, 1979 in St. Louis County, MO, he was the son of Elliott R. & Pacita Clark (Step Mother) of St. Ann, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, the late Tammy D. (Kinder) Clark. Joseph C. "Corney" Lewis, 82, of DeSoto entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, MO. Mr. Lewis was an assembler for the Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of UAW Local 136, DeSoto AmVets Post #48; he liked old cars and motorcycles. Born in DeSoto, Missouri on September 22, 1929 to the late Earl and Mamie (Grey) Lewis. He is survived by his loving wife, Blanche (Stillman) Lewis. Mr. Lewis is also survived by two sons: Bob (Janet Hinch) Carrow, Sulphur Springs, MO, Jeffrey (Jodi Christopher) Lewis, DeSoto, MO; eight grandchildren: Crystal, Alan, Hillary, Xena, Brandon, Ronald Jr., Tiffany and Josh; four great-grandchildren: Keegan, Austin, Aidan and Ashton; two brothers: Jackie Wayne Ningle of Crystal City and Bill Ningle of Festus; two sisters: Shirley Faye Siebert of Festus and Gwen Lewis of DeSoto. Geraldine H. Brooks, age 90 of Scottsdale, Arizona formerly of Crystal City, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Arizona.  She was born December 7, 1921 in Plattin, Missouri the daughter of the late Lilia (nee Wilson) and Hugh Harness.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands Edward John “Bud” Dugan and Bill G. Brooks and a brother Hugh Harness, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Jan Baum and husband Terry of Scottsdale, a sister Jean Fluegel and husband Roy of Hernando, Florida, a sister-in-law Evelyn Harness of Champaign, Illinois and one grandson Craig McFarland and wife Amber of Odessa, Missouri. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Crystal City, the Owner/Operator of Dugan Motors in Crystal City and a long time member of Joachim Golf Club. Nancy J. Wideman (nee Boughton), age 83, of Festus, Missouri, died December 16, 2011, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born February 11, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri. Nancy had worked for the Jefferson County Court House; she also was the manager for Stop N Go Convenience Mart and Gas Station, in Hillsboro, Missouri, and had worked in housekeeping at Normandy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She is survived by, Daughter-Barbara L. Huskey, of De Soto, Missouri. She is also survived by, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, Father-James Boughton, Mother-Margaret Boughton (nee Williams). Visitation-Thursday-December 22, 2011, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Robert D.
