Sherry Lynn Loges, age 55, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at her residence.  She was born August 2, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Shirley Marie (nee Damron) Boyer. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Loges and step-father James W. Boyer. She is survived by her fiance’ Al Aboussie, a daughter Rachel Puckett and husband Eric of St. Charles, Missouri, a son Benjamin Loges of Festus, a granddaughter Dakota Puckett, a grandson Everett Puckett and her adoptive father George Hawk of Festus. A memorial service will be held at her church, Twin City Church of Christ, Festus, 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 6, 2011 with Pastor Alan Amos officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus.

Marianne Lyda Hecktor, age 82, of Crystal City, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City.  She was born August 16, 1928 in Heilbrow, Germany, the daughter of the late Anna (nee Wolf) and Robert Haberle.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Hecktor. She is survived by a son James Mokwa and wife Antoinett of Wellington, Florida, a granddaughter Christina Mokwa and a step-brother Erhart Haberie of Stuttgate, Germany. She was a retired accountant, member of the Church of Our Lady in Festus, Missouri, Lady Elks of Lodge #1721, Hoe and Hope Garden Club, a gift shop volunteer at Jefferson Regional Medical Center and a friend to many. Visitation at Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus beginning at 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 6, 2011, with funeral services at 2:00 P.M., officiated by Rev. Dennis Heck, Chaplain of Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Crystal City. Lois Louise Schanz, age 82 of Pevely, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur, Missouri.  She was born February 27, 1929 in Herculaneum, Missouri the daughter of the late Maggie (nee Broombaugh) and Theodore Boyer.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Oran Boyer and a brother-in-law Harold Pashia. She is survived by sons Jeffrey Lee Schanz and wife Doris of Pevely, Ross Sidney Schanz of Pevely, Kevin Mark Schanz and wife Ann Patrice of Crystal City, Missouri, a daughter Lisa Ann Hillis and husband Jeffrey of Williamsville, Missouri, a brother Theodore E. Boyer and wife Terry of Herculaneum, a sister Norma Pashia of Herculaneum, a sister-in-law Mary Boyer, 14 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren. Dorothy Ann Swiger, age 75 of Festus, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri.  She was born November 15, 1935 in Russellville, Alabama the daughter of the late Gladys (nee McBride) and Udell Dickens.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Guy Nester Swiger, a son Mark Pippins and a brother Buddy Dickens. She is survived by a son Robert Dale Pippins of Festus, daughters Cynthia Soudauplous and husband Steve of Illinois, Debra Files and husband Bill of Festus and Carla Hill of California.  She is also survived by a sister Katie Davis of Georgia, two sister-in-laws, Dwanice Dickens of Florida and Jane Bollinger and husband Gerald, 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Mark David Strieker, age 47 of Pevely, Missouri passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at his residence.  He was born July 19, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Bonnie K. (nee Esmond) and Donald J. Strieker. He is survived by his brother and best friend Mike Strieker and wife Cyndi of Imperial, Missouri, 4 sisters Pam Childress and husband Bill of Phelan, California, Janet Barciszewski and husband Joe of Imperial, Donna Link and husband Kevin of St. Charles, Missouri and Rene Strieker of South County, Missouri.  He is also survived by nieces, Sobian Childress 30, Lisa Barciszewski 29, Christina Link 23, Kelly Link 21, Brianna Strieker 15, Natalie Strieker 12 and nephews, Brian Barciszewski 37, Aaron Barciszewski 27 and Shaun Strieker 28. He was employed as a hod carrier for Local #110 Bricklayers Union.

Daniel Leon Dement, age 66 of Festus, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at his residence.  He was born September 22, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Eva (nee Miner) and Arch Dement. He is survived by his wife Wanda (nee Howard) Dement, a daughter Wanda “Wendy” Greenlee and husband Tim of Festus, a son Brian Dement and fiancée Jamie Russell of Herculaneum, Missouri, a sister Mary Jo Pouge of St. Louis and four grandchildren, T.J. and Danielle Greenlee and Joshua and Jacob Dement. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a sheet metal worker for Brasch Manufacturing. Thomas A. Doll, 66, of DeSoto, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 12, 2011 at his residence. He was a retired store room clerk for Anheuser Busch, was a United States Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #253 and the Festus/Crystal City Elks Lodge #1721.He enjoyed fishing and boating. Born June 26, 1944, in St Louis, Missouri, he was the son of the late Virginia (Nance) and Phillip Doll Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Constance "Connie" (Wright) Doll of DeSoto, MO, a son: Dion Doll of Festus, MO, a daughter: Christine (Fred) Rauch of Brentwood, MO, two grandchildren: Zach and Jessica Rauch, a brother: Phillip (Suzy) Doll of Phoenix, AZ, sisters: Joanne (Robert) Riley of Oklahoma City, OK, Pat Benkle of Chico, CA, and Cheri (Rob) Sertich of Duarte, CA, along with several nieces, nephews, many friends and his fishing buddies. David M. Noel, age 32, of Festus, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was a heavy equipment operator for Holcim Cement. He enjoyed playing golf, was a Cardinals fan, loved animals, collected guns and was a people person. Born April 23, 1979, in Lexington, KY to William Noel of Florida and Lynda (Smith) Noel of Festus, MO. John Thomas Finn, age 57, of DeSoto, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.  He was born July 8, 1953 in Bloomfield, Missouri, son of the late Virginia (nee Haynie) and Alvin Finn. He is survived by his wife Cherie (nee Woods) Finn, a son Jacob Finn and wife Erin of St. Peters, Missouri, daughters Kathleen and Victoria Finn of DeSoto, brothers James Alvin Finn and wife Michelle of Elsinore, Missouri, Ron Finn and wife Janet of Marble Hill, Missouri, a sister Jeanne Handley and husband Kevin of New Johnsonville, Tennessee and one grandson, Jackson Finn. Stella Mae Juliette, age 88, of Arnold, Missouri, passed away May 17, 2011 at the South County Nursing Home in Arnold, MO. She worked for Kendrick Seminary for over 40 years. Born September 10, 1922 in Old Mines, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Frances (nee Thebeau) Jullaratt. Wilma Elizabeth Siebert-Bayer, age 97 of Festus, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at her residence.  She was born February 20, 1914 in Festus the daughter of the late Ethel (nee Frazier) and John L. Sewald.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husbands, Emmett C. Siebert and Francis Bayer, a brother Wilfred “Bud” Sewald and two sisters Dorothy Bayer and the late husband Earl and Lee McClanahan and the late husband Victor. She is survived by sons John E. Siebert and wife Mary of Pataskala, Ohio, Allen J. Seibert and wife Nancy of Festus, a daughter Mary Elizabeth Whitt and husband Donald of Erwin, Tennessee, step-children Andrew Bayer and wife Maryann of Lewiston, Idaho and Bobbi Allen of Festus.  She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Genevieve, Missouri, daughters Virginia Tindall and husband Marvin of Crystal City, Mary Tindall of Marble Hills, Missouri, a brother Tilden Frank Paul of Pasadena, California, 12 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. During her career she was employed at several hospitals and at one time owned Ideal Rest Home. She was a member of First Christian Church/Disciples of Christ, Festus, Missouri. Amanda Pauline “Mandy” Schlueter, age 99 of Pevely, Missouri passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at her residence.  She was born April 10, 1912 in Antonia, Missouri the daughter of the late Emma (nee Schraer) and Henry Schlueter.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Marie Anna Schlueter and a brother Alfred Schlueter and his wife Virginia. She is survived by two nephews, Bill Schlueter and wife Shelly, Wayne Schlueter and wife Kim both of Pevely, grand nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Trisha, Taylor and Trevor. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely and worked on the Schlueter Family Farm all of her life.Visitation Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, Pevely from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 27, 2011 and then at Zion Lutheran Church, Pevely after 9:00 A.M. Kathleen Myers, age 83 of Festus, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Herculaneum, Missouri.  She was born September 16, 1927 in Chester, Illinois the daughter of the late Florence Amelia (nee Rebbe) and Angus Edward Berry.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Stephen “Frisco” Myers, three sons Stephen B. Myers, Andrew N. Myers, Stephen F. Myers, one grandson Sean M. Kennedy and two brothers James Berry and William Berry. She is survived by a daughter Joan Kennedy and husband David of Crystal City, Missouri, two grandsons Brian C. Kennedy stationed at Colorado Springs, Colorado and Heath D. Kennedy of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two sisters Norma Gunn of McHenry, Illinois and Doris Kuhn Humphries and husband Patrick of Huntington Beach, California and one brother Leland Berry of Streator, Illinois. She was a member of Church of Our Lady, Festus, Missouri and was a Registered Nurse for Pittsburg Plate Glass Company, Dr. Rutledge and Jefferson Memorial Hospital prior to her retirement. Memorial Mass at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 17, 2011 at Church of Our Lady,  Festus officiated by Fr. Martin, Sr. age 73, of Festus, Missouri passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Missouri.  He was born February 6, 1938 in Festus, the son of the late Marian Helen (nee Queenan) and Joseph Wilbur Martin. He is survived by his wife Bonnie J. (nee Ussery) Martin, two daughters Tammy Holman and husband Randy and Sherri Basler, two sons Charles H. Martin, Jr. and wife Christi and James “Joe” Martin and wife Jamie, a sister JoAnn Mangan and husband Terry and a brother Gerald Martin, all of Festus, a sister-in-law Teddi Ann Martin of Imperial, Missouri, grandchildren Katie Norrick and husband Tyler, Terrah Basler and Josh Mayer, Janene Martin and fiance’ Adam Berry, Kelly Moll and husband Clayton, Ashley White and husband Aaron, Heather Martin, Josh Holman, Trey Martin, Shannon Martin, Patrick Basler, Morgan Martin and Amie Jo Martin, great-grandchildren Karlee Dyle, Lacey Mayer and Chase Martin. James Roy Basch, age 74, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at his residence.  He was born May 17, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Marjorie (nee Wilson) and George Robert Basch. He is survived by his wife Judith Gail (nee Dickson) Basch, daughters Cynthia L. Brown and husband David of Festus and Stephanie L. Basch and fiance’ Michael Bower of Festus, sons John R. Basch of Hazelwood, Missouri, Robert Wm. Basch and wife Cheryl of Brazil, Indiana and Bryant A. Basch and wife Shelly of Festus, a brother Walter E. Basch and wife Bonnie of St. Charles, Missouri and 13 grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a retired journeyman machinist from Boeing Aircraft Corporation, a member of the Crystal City branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Elks #1721, Joachim Golf Club and the Machinists Union.
