Wayne Anthony Davis, age 53, of Festus, MO passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born August 28, 1958, in St Louis, MO to the late Walter Anthony and Ruby Louise (Pratt) Davis. He is survived by his fiance: Brenda Ennis of Festus, MO, brothers: Allen Davis of Poplar Bluff, MO and David Davis of Poplar Bluff, MO and grandchildren: Kiara, Conner, Gina, Katylin, Hannah, Chanse, Destin, Sylis and Conner. He was an uncle, great uncle and great great uncle. He was a maintenance worker for the Walmart Supercenter in Festus. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Per his wishes, he gifted his body to Washington University School of Medicine.

Bernice G. Tomaselli, age 92, entered into rest at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Bernice worked for the Giant Grocers and was a cashier through the local 880 Union Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hazel (Krueger) Stults and two husbands, Wayne Bowers and then Frank Tomaselli. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, going out to eat, shopping, and watching old movies on television. She was a big John Wayne fan. Bernice leaves behind a loving family; Sons,Bob (Sandy) Tomaselli of Cleveland, Frank Tomaselli of Cleveland, daughter, Betty Gaskill of DeSoto, grandchildren, Joanne Vale, Brian Tomaselli and Renee Gaskill, Great-Grandchildren, Richard (Mandi) Jones, and Robert Jenkins, Great-Great-Grandchild Kaylie Jones, a daughter-in-law, Bernie of Cleveland, a nephew Danny Tomaselli, and special friend, David Bruhn. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husbands, a son, Tom Tomaselli, a son-in-law, Charles Gaskill, a brother, Richard Frye, and a sister, Marge. Lola Fay Hart, age 74 passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri.  She was born September 12, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Flora Irene (nee Bader) and John Hadley Hampton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hart, a sister Wanda Perkinson and a brother Harold Hampton. She is survived by a son John Cordia and wife Marcy of Conroe, Texas, a daughter Kathy Hart of Festus, Missouri, a sister Jolene DeClue and husband Jim of Festus, two grandchildren Tiffany Mehler and Zachary Cordia and one great-grandson Cullen Mehler. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Harold Jackson Myers Jr., age 65, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011, in Festus, Missouri. He was born July 4, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri.He was a retired chemical technician and had worked for Mallinckrodt Chemical Inc. He is survived by, Wife - Delanna Myers, (nee Schwarz) of St. Louis, Missouri; Son - Greg Myers, of Arnold, Missouri; Sister - Elaine Barker, of Lutesville, Missouri; Sister - Cynthia Stueve of Rocky Mount, Missouri. Also, survived by his Grandchildren, Olivia, Alex, and Andrew Myers, of Arnold, Missouri. Preceded in death by, Father - Harold Jackson Myers Sr.; Mother - Eleanor Myers (nee Wolf); Brother-Arthur Myers. Mr. Myers was cremated and services were private. Memorials to-The Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated by the family.

Edwin Wilhelm Gardner, age 90 of Crystal City, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center, Festus, Missouri.  He was born February 13, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois the son of the late Anna (nee Schulz) and Edward Gardner.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Erna Sprinz and Gertrude Wright.  He is survived by a nephew, Kim Gardner of Sappington, Missouri. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and a retired television serviceman. Private family services with interment at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.

Chase M. Pottorff, 4 years of age, of Wildwood, MO, entered into rest on Friday, November 4, 2011 at St Louis Children's Hospital. Born May 6, 2007, in Lake St Louis, MO to Justin R. and Angela S. (Miller) Pottorff. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother: Braden R. Pottorff of the home, grandparents: Richard and Sheila Pottorff of Rochester, MN and Dennis and Susan Miller of Festus, MO and many friends. Chase was a preschool student at Clarkson Valley Early Childhood Center in Chesterfield. He was the "cutest four year old ever" and loved just being adorable. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 7:00pm at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, Festus. Memorial visitation from 3:30pm-7:00pm. Interment private. Christine "Mozelle" Williams, entered into rest on November 4, 2011. Mozelle was born May 17, 1931, in Hopewell, Arkansas, to the late Floyd and Mabel (Vinson) Pace. She was a homemaker to her beloved children, Adrian "Anthony" Williams of DeSoto and Greg "Kenny" Williams of DeSoto; granddaughter, Britnee Smith; and great-granddaughter, Jocelynn Smith both of Festus; brothers: Bob (Jeanette) Pace of Arnold, Edward (Kathy) Pace of Walnut Ridge, AR, Wendell (Pat) Pace of Arnold, and Freddie (Brenda) Pace of Arnold; sisters: Jodell Smith of San Diego, CA, and Jenny (Morris) Phillips of Walnut Ridge, AR. Barbara Ann Wright, age 83, of Pevely, Missouri passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County, Missouri.  She was born September 13, 1928 in Portland Oregon the daughter of the late Velora (nee Lay) and Glenn George Miller. She is survived by her husband James L. Wright, of Pevely, son Steven Wayne McBride and wife Bonnie of Ogden, Utah, daughters Christann Werner and husband Eric of Pevely, Missouri, Cheryl Wright of Yuma, Arizona, brothers Richard Glenn Miller and wife Deon of Ogden, Utah, Robert Lloyd Miller and wife Marcia of Grantspass, Oregon, Donn Wayne Miller and wife Diana of Henderson, Nevada, sister Dianne Power and husband Garry of Laguna Niguel, California,13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sons Roger Farrell Wright and Allen L. Wright. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of Herculaneum, Missouri and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Devin M. Sarti, 15, DeSoto passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1996, in St. Louis, to Robert and Christine (Woodard) Sarti of DeSoto. Devin was a student at Grandview School; he was a member of the Twin Bridges "Lightening" Hockey Club and Wil-Nor Hunt Club. He is survived by his parents, his sisters: Jessica (William) Adams of Granite City, IL and Kelsey Sarti of DeSoto; Grandparents: Barbara Allen of Flippin, AR and Patricia (Karl) Schroeder of Hartford, Il; Uncle William (Jennifer) Sarti of St. Louis; Aunt Christine (Todd) Beckwith of Granite City, Il and cousins: Matt, Emily and Anthony. Sterling Francis “Frank” Schilly, age 68, of Pevely, Missouri, formerly of Crystal City, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City.  He was born May 20, 1943 in Crystal City, the son of the late Margaret Janes (nee Cook) Schilly and the late Francis Andrew Schilly. He is survived by his wife Pamela  “Pam” (nee Everett) Schilly, daughters Lynn Martin and husband Dave of Jefferson City, Missouri, Nicki Ruess and husband Doug of Bonne Terre, Missouri, sons Doug Schilly of Texas, James Schilly of St. Louis County, Missouri, Paul Richardson, Jr. and wife Renee of Festus, Missouri, brothers Tom Schilly and wife Linda of Crystal City, John Schilly and wife Deb of Crystal City, Mark Schilly and wife Robin of Festus, sisters Sue Ellen Boyer and husband Glenn of Crystal City, JoDell Skiles and husband Rev. Joe of Jefferson City, Missouri.  He is also survived by ten grandchildren Todd and Shawn Alexander, Megan, Morgan and Wesley Schilly, Bailey and Eric Ruess, Colton, Avery and Annabelle Richardson and numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam era and was a retired supervisor at the Crystal City Pittsburgh Plate Glass plant. Visitation 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Earl E. Parish, Age: 89, of De Soto, Missouri, passed away November 7, 2011 at The Oaks, in Festus, MO. He was a Supervisor at the Shipping Department of Bemis Bag Co. Born January 15, 1922 in Grandin, Missouri, he was the son of the late William Riley and Syrena M. (nee Ball) Parish. He was also preceded in death by his wife, the late Thelma Marie Parish. He is survived by his children: Ruth (John) Dearing, De Soto, MO; Debbie (Ricky) Dollar, Herculaneum, MO (preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Wentz). Brothers & Sisters: (preceded in death by siblings, Milton Parish, Gladys O’Leary, Sylvia Wood, Eulah Hampton, and James Parish). Grandchildren: Richard (Mindy) Wentz; Rev. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sisters Lillian Evens, Myrtle Page and Mae Kappel and brothers Orin Moss, Earl Moss and Elmer Moss. She is survived by a daughter Donna Brigham and husband Douglas, Sr. of St. Louis, Missouri, a son Gordon Ratfield and wife Cheryl of Webster Groves, Missouri, grandchildren Reg Brigham, II, Douglas Brigham, Jr. and Kelly Ratfield, great-grandchildren Douglas Brigham, III, Reg Brigham, III, Grace Brigham, John Brigham and Anna Brigham. Penny Hoffman, age 60, of Pevely, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at her residence.  She was born July 29, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Doris M. (nee Pickens) and Carl George Hoffman.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Carla Castleberry. She is survived by a son Michael Wayne Hoffman of Arnold, Missouri, a brother Ronald Steen of Columbia, Missouri, a sister Carolyn Kay Cox of Kansas City, Missouri and two grandchildren Steven Michael Hoffman and Tiffany Nicole Hoffman. Charles Erich Schlanker, Age: 48, of De Soto, Missouri, passed away November 11, 2011 at his residence in De Soto, MO. He was a Deputy for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department; also recently served as bailiff in the Jefferson County Courts. Born February 23, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of the late Charles M. Schlanker. Nancy Jean Crannick, age 69 of DeSoto, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in DeSoto.  She was born June 18, 1942 in Festus, Missouri the daughter of the late Catherine V. (nee Grieshaber) and Leonard E. Gegg. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald R Crannick a  brother Gerald Joseph Gegg and a brother-in-law Richard Russell. She is survived by sons DeWayne Crannick of Spanish Lake, Missouri, Kevin Crannick of Festus, daughters Joyce White and husband Keith of Herculaneum, Missouri, Donna Hartman and husband Brad of Festus, a sister Ruth Ann Russell, seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Robert Olean Deal, age 61, of Festus, MO, passed away on November 12, 2011 at St Louis University Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1949, in Charleston, MO to the late Murphy and Gladys (Harris) Deal. On July 16, 1982, he married Ruby Elaine (Nail) Deal who passed away in November of 2009. He is survived by his sons: David (Tina) Deal of Washington, MO, Clayton Deal of Festus, MO, and Matt (Angie) Deal of Potosi, MO, daughters: Andi (Tracy) Carrow of DeSoto, MO, Rhonda (Jeremy) Heath of Hillsboro, MO, Christina Deal of Festus, MO and Julie Deal of Sedalia, MO, brother: Delbert (Claudia) Deal of Jennings, MO, sister: Elva (Billy) Brandon of Sikeston, MO, 20 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Lindell Deal and Freeman Deal and his sister: Ella Mae Storie. Mr. Deal was a retired machinist at Chandeysson Electric in St Louis, MO. He was a United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints of Festus/Crystal City, the Amvets and the VFW. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his family and playing solitaire. Funeral service with military honors to be held on Thursday, November 17 at 10:30am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation from 9:00am-9:30am at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Mattie M. Maddox, age 90, entered into rest on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at her Dittmer residence. Born June 29, 1921 to the late Merrideth and Mattie (Bush) Alsup in Cottonwood Point, Missouri. She married her late husband, Thomas W. Maddox, Sr. and continued to be a homemaker, raising her loving family. She is survived by sons: Bill (Kathy) Maddox of St. Louis, Larry (Kaaren) Maddox of Dittmer, Jack Maddox of St. Louis, Michael (Katie) Radford of Cedar Hill; daughters: Mattie McMinn of Dittmer, Gracie Chambers of Dittmer and Patricia (Larry) Craden of DeSoto; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: Thomas Maddox, Jr.,and James Maddox; daughter, Francis Maddox; son-in-law, Randy McMinn; brothers: Buster and James Alsup; and sisters: Mabel Abbott, Ethel Potter and Grace Potter. Mattie enjoyed taking care of her children and dogs, loved playing rummy and shopping and gardening; she was also a great cook.  Brother Wayne Kuenzle will officiate service. Stanley E. Eyres, 72, Desloge,(formerly of DeSoto) passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011. He was born December 2, 1938, in Montrey, California, to the late Walter P and Lois L (Reynard) Eyres. Mr. Eyres was a US Navy veteran and had worked as a laborer for Lefebure, Inc.; he was a member and the head usher of the Victory Worship Center in Bonne Terre. She had been a clerk at Walmart for 33 years and a member of Cross Point Church of Festus. Toni enjoyed watching tennis and loved being with her grandchildren. Born November 7, 1953, in Granite City, Illinois, to Dorothy (Hendrickson) Young of Festus and the late Frank Serrano. She is survived by her loving family which includes her husband of 37 years, Danny L. John "Birddog" Dennis Bourisaw, age 63, of DeSoto entered into rest November 17, 2011, at St. Anthony's Hospice House in St. Louis County. John was born October 9, 1948 in DeSoto, the son of the late Albert and Marie (Bequette) Bourisaw. He was a member of the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam War and worked for Daimler Chrysler Corp until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf, riding horses, deer hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Nancee (Harston) Bourisaw; two sons: Jason (Kristi) Bourisaw of Columbia, IL; and their children: Ashli, Bryson, and Greyson; and James (Heather) Bourisaw of DeSoto, MO; and their children, Nicholas and Shelby; a brother, Cecil (Carol) Bourisaw of Bonne Terre; six sisters: Ruth Jarvis of Potosi, Veronica Fields of DeSoto, Viola Maness of DeSoto, Geraldine (Elmer) Meyer of Hillsboro, Janice (Karl) Schott of Hillsboro, and Charlotte (Henry) Skiles of DeSoto. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Martin and Clifford Bourisaw; and one sister, Catherine Belt. Funeral Services will be held at Mahn Funeral Home in DeSoto officiated by Fr. Pat Christopher. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, Missouri where she served on the Parish Council and was a member of the Church Choir. He was a customer service representative for Convergys Corporation. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, playing drums, thesbian theatre and was a Civil War reinactor. Leona Sylvia (nee Mollet) Pruneau, age 96, formerly of Crystal City, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011 at McKenzie Health Care Center in McKenzie, Tennessee.  She was born July 20, 1915 in Modoc, Illinois, the daughter of the late Mary (nee Thomas) and Andrew Mollet.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ivan Edward “Judge” Pruneau and three brothers William, Joseph and John Mollett. She is survived by a son Charles Ivan Pruneau and wife Donna Marie of McKenzie, Tennessee, a daughter Donna Lee Pruneau of Enid, Oklahoma, a granddaughter Michelle Doscher and husband Richard, and two great-grandchildren Stephen and Alexander Pressley. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City and a past president of the Crystal City Garden Club. Funeral Mass will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Donald R. Thomas, age 76, of Herculaneum, MO entered into rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at his residence. Born August 12, 1935, in Missouri to the late Charles G. and Lora (Kellett) Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Fran (Dodd) Thomas of Herculaneum, MO, son; Michael Thomas of Missouri, brother: Randy (Peggy) Thomas of Texas, grandchildren: Michelle, Shannon, Stephanie, D.J., Ryan, Casey and Tosha, and great grandchildren: Logan, Christopher, Lucas, Molly, Damon, D.J. Jr., Aidan, Grant, Alex and Leah. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter: Donna Pool, brother: Charles Thomas and sister: Sandra Sasseen. He was a retired police officer with the St Louis County Police Department. He also worked for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department for five years. He retired as a technical sergeant after 20 years in the United States Air Force. He served his country during the Korean and Vietnam wars. Torrey was a Union Carpenter for Festus Local 2214. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and football. He is survived by a son, Terry Pruneau and wife Lois of Carson City, Nevada, daughters, Martha DeMent and husband Tim of Festus, Missouri, Vickie Fritsche and husband George of Augusta, Georgia, grandchildren Dr. Christopher Speidel and wife Christy, Elizabeth Speidel Chapman, Susan Speidel Mastrioni, Randy Pruneau and wife Jamie, Derrick Pruneau and wife Jessica, Steve Pruneau and wife Kam, Nik Seibert, Jamie Blankenship and husband Tim, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson, Jayden Coston.  He is also survived by sisters Eleanor Hill of Crystal City, Virginia McCormack of Festus and Emiline Aubuchon of Crystal City. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Knights of Columbus Council #1230 and a veteran of the United States Army. Norville Joseph Drury, age 82 of Festus, Missouri passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri.  He was born January 7, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Catherine Edna (nee Ruh) and Edwin D. Drury.  He is also preceded in death by a brother Dermont Drury. He is survived by numerous cousins. He was a Merchant Marine in the Coast Guard, a member of the United States Army and Air Force and worked on the barge lines. Visitation Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church, Crystal City, Missouri officiated by Rev. Karen S. (Burton) Fine, age 68, of Festus, MO, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at her residence. She was born on May 26, 1943, to Richard and Maureen (Burgess) Burton of St Louis, MO. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters: Kelly (Richard) Winter of Clayton, MO and Katy (Richard Newman) Fine of Kirksville, MO, grandchildren: Sean and Liam, brother: William Burton of Hawaii, and Patrice (Brandon) Johnston of St Charles, MO along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a retired art teacher who worked for the Festus School District for 26 years. She loved her grandchildren and daughters and enjoyed art and gardeniing. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5-7PM at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Service to be held at 7PM. Interment is private. Minister Don Bahrt to officiate. Earl Wilson Wagner, age 92 of Festus, Missouri passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri.  He was born August 24, 1919 in Potter, Nebraska the son of the late Clara (nee Mueller) and W. Wilson Wagner.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Wilma (nee Young) Wagner and brothers Harlan Wagner and Willard Wagner. He is survived by sons, Ronald Wagner and wife Carla of Amherst, Virginia and Gerald Wagner and wife Sharon of Georgetown, Texas, daughters Barbara Wagner of DeSoto, Missouri, Carol Moreno and husband Gene of Tucson, Arizona, a sister Leora Hoffman of Bonne Terre, Missouri,  sisters-in-law Jane Wagner and Janie Wagner, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal City, a veteran of the United States Army, member of VFW Post #3777 and a retired shoe sales representative.
