Barbara A. (Scheid) Love, age 69, of Kimmswick, MO entered into rest on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Scenic View Nursing Center. She was the retired Director of Transportation for Windsor School District. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and flower arranging. Born October 29, 1941, in St Louis, MO to the late Henry J. and Bernice (Thorpe) Scheid. She is survived by her husband of 51 years: James C. Love, son: James (Bonnie) K. Love of Imperial, MO; daughters: Roxanne (Larry) Epley of Valles Mines, MO, Kimberly (Denny) White of Imperial, MO and Debra Love of Kimmswick,MO; grandchildren: Buddy (Brittany) Reno, Ryan and Shaun Love and Cassandra White; sister: Darlene (Dave) Phillips of Wentzville, MO and special friend: Lynn Wann of Barnhart, MO. Memorial service was held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 12:00 noon and was officiated by Pastor Earl Wetter.  Memorial visitation from 11AM-12:00 noon. Michael "Tim" T. Finnegan, age 68, of Bonne Terre,  MO entered into rest on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired mill worker. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, his family and loved woodworking. Born June 29, 1943, in St Louis, MO to Kathleen (Cooper) Finnegan of Glendale, MO and the late Dick Finnegan. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 45 years: Cheryl (Vanost) Finnegan of Bonne Terre, MO; sons: Sean (Kukla) Finnegan of O'Fallon, MO and Bryan (Jennifer) Finnegan of O'Fallon, MO; daughters: Quinn (Sean) Ryan of Union, MO and Coleen (Matt) Langston of Farmington, MO; 8 grandchildren; brother: Dan (Ann) Finnegan of Wildwood, MO and sister: Sandra Finnegan of Glendale, MO. Clara Velma (nee Roth) Mahue, 92 of Festus, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri.  She was born September 11, 1918 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William and Wilma (nee Layton) Roth. Dorothy J. Poole, age 87, of Festus, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Festus Manor Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. Born December 19, 1923, in Spokane, Washington to the late John and Grace (Hollenbeck) Ely. She was married to the late Ralph E. Poole who preceded her in death in 2000.She is survived by her sons: Donald Gwinn of State College, PA, Richard (Eloise) Gwinn of Paraquay, South America, David (Gerri) Gwinn of Lititz, PA, Larry (Linda) Gwinn of Eustis, FL and Mark (Nadia) Gwinn of Springfield, MO; daughters: Victoria (Stanley) King of Barnhart, MO, Susan (Chuck) Ortinau of Aurora, IL and Candace (Hurschel) Alexander of Festus, MO: 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and sisters: Nancy Dvornak of Chicago, IL, Darlene (Don) Byrnes of TX, and Beverly Erdman of Spokane, Wa. Larry Lee Thurman, age 67, of Festus, MO, entered into rest on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Festus Manor Nursing Home. He was a retired mechanic who worked at Lewis Motors and was a United States Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. Born January 20, 1944, in Festus, MO to the late Leland and Grace (Murray) Thurman. He is survived by his friend and former spouse: Nancy Thurman of Festus; son: Chris Thurman of Festus; daughter: Michele Chesnut of Bonifay, FL; granddaughter: Angelica Sprous-Thurman; brother; Darrel (Barb) Thurman of Festus, MO; and sisters: Lela Ferguson of Festus, MO and Mary LaBrot of Crystal City, MO. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Roland Thurman. William A. “Bill” DeClue, Sr., age 61, of Richwoods, Missouri, formerly of Festus, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri.  He was born March 4, 1950 the son of the late Judith Maxine (nee Farnham) and Augustus Thomas DeClue, Sr. He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann (nee Woolbright) DeClue, daughter Sandra A. Knotts of Crystal City, Missouri, sons William A. “Billy” DeClue, Jr. of DeSoto, Missouri and Charles “Stephen” DeClue of Festus, brother Augustus T. “Gus” DeClue, Jr. and wife Doris of Festus, sisters Jane Grasso of Viburnum, Missouri, Janice S. Hanson of Festus and Judy Marie Revelle of Richwoods, granddaughters Danielle Nicole and Kristen Lynn Knotts and grandson Alan Nash DeClue. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law James F. Hanson. He was a Homebuilder; also worked at McDonell-Douglas Aircraft and Pundeman Ford. Born February 4, 1920 in Belaire, IL, he was the Son of the late Walter G. and Olive Margaret (Randolph) Freeland. He was married to Nellie M. (nee Forbes) Freeland. Lowell James Martin, age 62, of Crystal City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at John Cochran V. A. Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was born December 28, 1948 in St. Louis, the son of the late James Sylvester Martin and the late Lelah Myrtle (nee Vinyard) Martin-Maurais. He is survived by his wife Katherine (nee Go) Martin, sisters Lonie Ruth Ross and husband Clifford W. of West Plains, Missouri, Becky Propst and husband Larry of Festus, Missouri and Donna Elaine Ryan of Arnold, Missouri, numerous nieces and nephews. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, a Data Processor for the V.A. Records Management Center in St. Louis, member of the First United Methodist Church in Festus and VFW Post #3777. (nee Scott) and Martin L. Goff.  She also was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Vaughn, a brother Herbert “Dick” Goff, and a brother-in-law Pete Reineer. She is survived by her daughter Karen P. Apple and husband Loyd of Pacific, Missouri, sons Robert Martin “Marty” Vaughn and wife Susan of Bloomsdale and Charles Daniel “Charlie” Vaughn and wife Karen of Bloomsdale, sisters Joyce Lansing and husband Lester of St. Louis, Missouri and Rose Frances Reineer of Buffalo, Missouri, sister-in-law Eleanor Goff of Bonne Terre, Missouri, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. George L. "Catfish" Hudman Jr, age 51, of Hillsboro, MO passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was formerly a self employed construction worker and was a United States Army veteran. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Born August 4, 1959, in Michigan City, Indiana, to George L. Hudman Sr of Hope, AR and Annette Lawrence of Cherry Valley, AR. Steven Wayne “Hawk” Rooney, age 52 of Festus, Missouri formerly of Columbus, Kansas passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at his residence.  He was born April 27, 1959 in Oswego, Kansas the son of Martha (nee Tomey) and Charles “Bud” Rooney of Webb City, Missouri. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Linda (nee Logan) Rooney, sons Travis Rooney and wife Melissa of Baxter Springs, Kansas, Nicholas Rooney and wife Alisha of West Mineral, Kansas, Seth Rooney of Branson, Missouri, a step-son Chris Reid and wife Melissa of Indianapolis, Indiana, a step-daughter Nikkee Joiner and husband Rob of Pevely, Missouri, grandchildren Jayden, Livia, Tanner and Britney Rooney, a step-granddaughter Adia Joiner one brother Mark Rooney and wife Shawnee of Grove, Oklahoma and one sister Krista Crowder and husband John of Carl Junction, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He lived in Branson for seven years where he worked at Silver Dollar City as a blacksmith making knives.  He was honored to be involved in the manufacturing of 184 memorial benches for the 9/11 Pentagon victims and took great pride in this effort. In younger years he attended the Assembly of God Church in Chetopa and later the Assembly of God Church in Columbus.  He belonged to the Black Dog Trail Mountain Men Club.  He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed woodcarving and knife making. John "Bub" W. Harness, Sr, age 89, of Ste Genevieve (formerly of DeSoto), passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Riverview at the Park Care and Rehab Center. He was a retired electrician. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served his country during World War II and was stationed in Pearl Harbor after the attack. He was a member of the IBEW #2, Amvets, Elks Lodge #689, VFW, American Legion of Bloomsdale and enjoyed horseshoes, hunting, fishing, casinos and playing cards. Born July 16, 1921, in Caledonia, MO to the late Clarence and Ethel (Newcomb) Harness. He is survived by his son: John (Donna) Harness Jr. of Ste Genevieve, MO; daughter: Sharon Shelley of Soulard, MO; grandchildren: Stephanie, John III "Trey", and Shannon; great grandchildren: Nathan and Sophia; special friend: Marlene and her children: Dan, Diane and Kim, Serenity Hospice caretakers: Sue, Diane and Staff; and his friends and staff at Riverview Center. She was born October 27, 1937 in Crystal City, Missouri, the daughter of Letha Ann (nee Revelle) Jacobs of the Missouri Baptist Home, Ironton, Missouri and the late Harley Francis Porchey. She also is survived by her daughter Debbie Nadine Thomas of St. Louis, Missouri, sisters Frances Ann Behrman of Creve Coeur, Missouri and Mary Porchey-Evans of Festus, Missouri, and a brother William Ray Porchey and wife JoAnn of Leavenworth, KS. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by a brother James Harley Porchey. George Michael “Mike” McCain, Jr., age 48, of Pevely, Missouri passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Missouri.  He was born November 2, 1962 in Crystal City, Missouri the son of Carol Sue (nee Courtney) and George Michael McCain, Sr. of Pevely.
